Natural gas - an environmentally friendly source of energy
Natural gas is a popular fuel for heating and hot water – with good reason: Heating with natural gas is economical, convenient and protects the environment. It is available in large quantities and there are sufficient reserves for several decades. Modern gas boilers are energy efficient and are subject to stringent safety standards – and in contrast to heating with petroleum, you do not need elaborate safety mechanisms on the tank. Instead, underground lines bring the natural gas directly to your home. Natural gas is the lowest emission fossil fuel. It burns with no residue, which means no smoke or soot, and CO2 emissions are considerably lower than with other fossil fuels. This protects the environment and your non-condensing boiler at the same time.
