Gasoline systems business unit in Turkey
Bosch has expanded its manufacturing activities in Turkey. As of March 2009, serial production of high pressure gasoline injection valves has started in Bosch Bursa plant. 100 associates were transferred internally within the company and up to now 23 million Euros were invested. Total investment will reach up to 70 million Euros and the number of employees is planned to be increased to 320 by the end of 2011. The facility is planned to manufacture approximately 7000 units per day by the end of 2009.

Gasoline injection valves are important components of Bosch’s current, second generation gasoline direct injection systems. These systems increase the efficiency of the combustion and the overall engine.
