Among the activities of Bosch, celebrating its 100th year in Turkey,  is also a new competition named  “Invented for Life” for students of engineering faculties.

The competition is organized in order to produce solutions for ecological problems and  to discover creative minds. The subjects of the competition are energy saving, waste management and the use of alternative / renewable energy resources.

The competition which has been organized for  the 2nd and 3rd grade undergraduate and 1st grade post graduate students is going to take place between 1 January and 31 May 2010.

The jury which is composed of Bosch Group Turkey executives and a member of TUBITAK will evaluate the projects in terms of their innovation size, saving amount, benefit & sustainability, area of application issues.

As a result of the competition, Bosch will award the owners of the projects who use their engineering knowledge most effectively and present efficient solutions for ecological life. The first winner of the competition will have the opportunity of four weeks of internship in a Bosch abroad organization, the second winner will have the opportunity of mixed internship in Bosch Turkey organizations and the third winner will get the opportunity of completing his or her thesis in Bosch Turkey organizations. Moreover, first three competitors and the competitor to be rewarded with honorable mention will be granted Bosch engineering schloarship.  The award owner students having the opportunity of getting to know the technology world of Bosch will thereby contribute greatly to their professional carriers.
