Bosch products recognize everyday risks
Some days you feel you have to keep an eye on everything. And then the inevitable happens anyway: The parking space looked big enough, but the corner got in the way. That's not just annoying; it can also be expensive. Intelligent Bosch technology automatically reduces everyday risks.

Making life less hazardous

Our aim is to develop innovative products that ease your life by using technology that thinks logically, acts independently and prevents dangers. Whether it's parking your car as though you had eyes in the back of your head, X-raying a wall before drilling, or knowing elderly friends and relations will get help quickly when they need it – clever products from Bosch keep
a watchful eye on things you can't always see yourself.

Problem-free parking
Bosch parking aids detect obstacles outside your field of vision and automatically warn you about how close they are. This is how it works: Ultrasonic sensors in the bumpers monitor an area of up to 250 cm in front as well as behind your car, depending on the system version installed. Just like bats, these sensors transmit ultrasonic signals and capture the returning echo. When anything is dangerously close, the driver is given an acoustic and/or visual warning signal. At less than 25 cm from an obstacle, a continuous tone sounds.

Parking aids can be ordered as an optional extra on many car models. In addition, Bosch also offers Parkpilot retrofit systems for more than 300 types of vehicle.

Technology that can save lives
Bosch home service alarms are ideal for all single, elderly and chronically ill people. One press of the button, and help is on the way. The alarm system consists of a subscriber station connected to the telephone network and a radio transmitter the person carries around the house, wherever he or she goes. The alarm control center receives the emergency messages and initiates the agreed measures. External wireless alarms grant even greater protection. They monitor their surroundings and automatically radio data directly to the service alarm subscriber station. External alarms can be programmed to
act as wireless motion sensors or intruder alert systems.

Washing without itching
Bosch washing machines fitted with an AquaSensor ensure your clothes are rinsed especially thoroughly. An infrared beam constantly checks the water for even the tiniest remnants of dirt or detergent. The data collected are then
used to decide how long the rinse program should be set. This ensures as little detergent as possible remains in your washing, making your clothes pleasant to wear – even on sensitive skin.

To drill or not to drill?
The new Bosch DMF 10 Zoom detector not only recognizes metal and electric cables in your wall, but also concealed wooden constructions, consigning punctured water pipes
and the associated repairs to history. By localizing wooden constructions in your walls, it helps find places where screws will hold firmly. The user simply presses the appropriate button to select whether the device should look for metal such as reinforcing steel and copper pipes or wooden structures. Electrical cabling is shown with both settings. If the DMF 10 Zoom detects metal or cabling, you can pinpoint it exactly by holding down the zoom button and repeatedly moving over the relevant area.

Isn't it nice when everything works fine? You don’t have to worry about everything; we'll do that for you. And because we want to keep on making your life easier and safer, we will continue developing innovative products that keep a lookout on your behalf.
