The intelligent seat
Wherever your road may lead: The clever pneumatic system in the Drive Dynamic Seat automatically offers the best seat position and perfect side support in every driving situation.

The control unit installed in the seat continuously receives the current driving speed, yaw rate and lateral acceleration data from the sensor system of the Electronic Stability Program ESP®. Based on this input, the pneumatic system continuously adjusts the volume of the air cushions installed underneath the seat upholstery to the driving situation. The effect: the best possible seat adjustment and perfect side support for drivers at all times.

The compact control computer and electro-pneumatic valves are integrated in the seat. The comfort functions are adjusted to the weight and size of users. In tests on Alpine pass-roads at 3000 m altitude, the Drive Dynamic Seat proved that its pneumatic system also works perfectly under changed air pressure. And skid tests on slippery tracks helped adjust the side support system to work in even the most extreme conditions.

A relaxed back on long journeys
For long journeys, the Drive Dynamic Seat offers a comfort function that can be activated at all times by pushing a button on the seat. The side cushions are no longer inflated as strongly, the seat offers more space, and the driver sits comfortably and in ergonomically correct position during long hours of driving. In addition, the massage function gently massages the lower back with pulsating air cushions.

That way, the Drive Dynamic Seat makes the entire journey a relaxed pleasure.
